Author trilogypart3 (1 month) In the long history of stupid and foolish human inventions, the necktie is near the top of the list as one of the most asinine clothing items ever created. Unless you have a decent quality dress shirt with a comfortable collar, a necktie is damn near the equivalent of having a noose around your neck. I've had to wear the damn things for years, and even after all of that time, I have yet to come up with a single valid reason for their existence.
