Comments:Author CJCA915 (6 months) Even legitimate licenses have been marked as false positives... Author otzilla (6 months) what!?!?! I'll actually have to buy a licenses? oh the atrocity. Author CJCA915 (7 months) It might not last long... as soon as that phones home to MS... Author John Paul Sacedor (7 months) My pirated Windows 7 (build 7601) is having no problems since the computer itself automatically installed update KB971033. But should I continue? Author CJCA915 (11 months) Well, actually, genuine users have experienced problems with this particular update... Author vizzuleyes (11 months) Stupid nerd bitch? Nice one!! JJ-j j JJ Jimmy. Your not to bright are ya? The first sentence in the comment is Genuine users are not experiencing this, so lets think about this, you didn't have this problem..still with me? You are running a Genuine version, which means what class?? Good, you didn't experience the problem. I'll give ya a day or two to absorb this concept of reading and understanding. Nice Justin Bieber video on your page, just do the world a favor and go jerk off to that. Author Jeremiah Casto (11 months) I didn't have this problem you stupid nerd bitch. I said Genuine PROGRAM numbnuts. Author vizzuleyes (11 months) So when flipped it is obvious we are on the same page of a different book. Usually constructive conversations do not come from videos like this which is good because I am just as guilty as the next guy. Obviously you are an intelligent person with very good points. (hard to find on YouTube these days) So please feel free to delete my first comment due to valid points. It is to bad that monopolies are not considered such, if they benefit the government enough. Its sad to see the way we are headed Author vizzuleyes (11 months) Very good point, I agree completely with out of date and such software. On my page I am an RC jet modeler and flier I build expensive remote control jets for people all over the country and some overseas and have flown over 23 years myself. Where I agree with you is the old stuff. Flight sims are very expensive these days and guess who owns the market yep MS. Am I guilty of having several older ones that may have been downloaded and cracked? I'll let you figure that out, lol In-cert foot n mouth Author CJCA915 (11 months) Putting a monopoly on stuff does not advance things... competition in the market is what advances things... even in medicine, some scientists want to be the first to something... not all though. I think one should be allowed to legally download older versions of software, etc. especially if it's not being sold anymore... e.g. if I want a movie no longer on sale... Well, Linux is 100% free, & it's doing excellent, the only reason I use Windows is because the software I need is Windows based... Author vizzuleyes (11 months) I agree with the greedy company portion, but that is how science and technology is advanced. MS could give away their next OS and would still pull billions a year in profits. It used to be that people could take a stand against a corp. but when they get to the size and profit margin of MS there is nothing that can be done. I used to DL every version of windows OS but its more trouble than its worth, for me at least. I'm not saying support them all out, but w/o them we wouldn't be watching this Author CJCA915 (11 months) People who have bought a legitimate copy or had it come with their OEM computer, have experienced this update nullifying their genuineness, Microsoft has even vindicated this problem with the update... I saw an interview with a Microsoft employee addressing this issue. I'm not against WPA, etc. for the paranoid reason of some take over the world plot, but rather greedy corporations wanting more and more money, to line their pockets with... Author CJCA915 (11 months) Yes, they have, Microsoft has even vindicated that. Some genuine users have experienced problems with this update, in which they have to move a user to a new key... Author vizzuleyes (11 months) Genuine users are not experience this, lol they may say they have a real version but they are BS'n. If all these genuine users computers were basically shutting down Win 7, it would be all over the news and net. Ambassador1701 is a moron, a genuine moron. lol Author CJCA915 (11 months) Even this update has a knack for flagging "genuine" installations... I for one think it's a load of crap... if I buy a single copy of Windows 7 Ultimate, no matter how many computers I use it on, it's still genuine... it's still a legitimate copy with a legitimate product key... if it wasn't for the lack of support for the pre-XP operating systems from Windows... I'd still be using them... when one didn't need to "validate" their OS... that's kudos I give to Apple, they don't do that crap. Author vizzuleyes (11 months) That is what we call buying something. Its kind of opposite of stealing something. This is the best part of big updates is watching wanna be hackers flip out like MS is going to steal your soul. lolol. I mean how else is MS going to take over the world?? Hell it would probably be a better place. So buy and support so they can steal our first born. YEAHHHH Author vizzuleyes (11 months) OR...Just own a computer with a valid, real. purchased OS like windows seven. Everyone is so paranoid these days. I for one don't care what MS does in my comp. My Identity is safe and insured and I can play games and look at porn all I want. If MS wants to know where to find some big ol titties check my comp. lol Author CJCA915 (11 months) Well, this update still has the oddity of flagging those as well, MS admitted that... Author GamerGarrus (11 months) well, lucky i bought a genuine copy of windows 7 ultimate ;] Author Jan Gabriel (1 year) I Downloaded This OS and downloaded all the updates but i didn't get block maybe just got lucky but i did different though Author CJCA915 (1 year) Just that update and SP1... however, if you want to install SP1, download both redistributable forms of the updates, then disconnect from the internet, install KB971033 then SP1, once it's all done, restart computer if needed, uninstall KB971033, reconnect to the internet... if you don't install KB971033 before SP1, you can't remove it after SP1. Author Jayrek Tabasa (1 year) Question, aside from the KB971033, what else that i should avoid from the windows updates?,should i install ALL the Important and the Optional available updates in my pc? for now, i just HiIDE the KB971033.(Your reply will be a great help for me,thanks ahead) Author The40nontyy3 (1 year) thanks man!!!!!!!!! u saved me Author watch4reality (1 year) MS preys on the uninformed - they erroneously tell you the key on your computer is bogus & refer you back to the manufacturer who may say the warranty expired so not our problem! DONT believe what MS tells you, spend $ on techs to fix it, or purchase a shiny new OS out of fear. Manufacturers are sold a licence for multiple computers. The new KB971033 patch is merely a MS license to bully consumers to purchase yet another licence. Rotten thieves. If you cant uninstall it - do a system restore. Author CJCA915 (1 year) Well, even genuine users have experienced issues with this particular update... and in reality the software is genuine, pirated or not, what you're paying for is that little slip with the product key on it, that's the only genuine aspect to software with product keys... a copy of Windows 7 Ultimate x64 is no different than another copy of Windows 7 Ultimate x64, you can use your product key on both copies... your product key is the only unique aspect of it. Author Jeremiah Casto (1 year) I doesn't matter because I have the Genuine program and yes, yes. It's windows 7 Ultimate. Author CJCA915 (1 year) Have you checked for updates? If you don't have Windows 7, it won't appear to you. Author Jeremiah Casto (1 year) I can't find KB971033.I havn't installed any updates yet, but I can't find this one. Author MrBlzbla (1 year) How to remove, ''Windows is not genuie''thing.. 1) Go to start 2) Go to default program 3) Press programs and features in the left bottom corner 4) Press ''view installed updates'' 5) Search for KB971033 6) Right click on the update and press uninstall. This should fix the not geniue windows thing Author CJCA915 (1 year) If Windows hasn't been deactivated and marked as non-genuine, you should be fine... if not, you'd need to re-arm Windows... however, one only needs to worry if they've pirated Windows... however, there are cases where genuine software gets tagged, but a simple call to Microsoft should fix that issue. Author MizPinkii89 (1 year) question, wat do i do if it already automatically installed???? i went to uninstall updates n it let me. wat now?? Author CJCA915 (1 year) MS calls it "genuine." You can view your key by going to: Control Panel\System and Security\System However, if your key is genuine, in that it came with a retail copy of Windows, or it came with your computer, you'll be fine... using another copy of Windows, as long as it's the same, if your key is for Windows 7 Home Premium, you must use a Windows 7 Home Premium installation disc and or pirated copy, the problem with genuine software is the product key, not the OS. Author SidewaysAndrew (1 year) What's the official term for this 'key' and can it be found on my windows system? I'm under the impression that it is my Product ID found on the 'System' page in Control Panel > All Control Panel Items. Author CJCA915 (1 year) Legit isn't a legitimate word... thanks. However, if you have a legitimate key, you should have no problem... if you do have a problem, since your key is legitimate, just contact MS and you should be able to resolve the issue, they will move you to another key... Author SidewaysAndrew (1 year) Can I use my legit Product ID to use for a pirate version if I get that problem? Author CJCA915 (1 year) ... have no problems. Author CJCA915 (1 year) However, it will get installed with SP1 automatically and if the update is not installed prior, you can't remove it, so many have said that in order to install SP1 and then remove this update. Download the SP1 redistributable so you have it, they should offer a redistributable of SP1 for offline users, install the KB971033 update, disconnect from the internet, then install SP1 from the redistributable, then uninstall the KB971033 update, and then reconnect to the internet... and you should... Author CJCA915 (1 year) Change the automatic updates to anything other than install automatically... then when you get to the list of updates, hide that update, by right clicking on it, and click Hide Update. Author CJCA915 (1 year) Because, if you do not install it when it's presented, and hide it, it won't be installed automatically later... Author avarmauk (1 year) How do I stop it from installing automatically? Is changing windows updates settings to "Never check for updates" enough? Author grindthrasher80 (1 year) then how can you say "do not install" Author CJCA915 (1 year) Yes, it's optional, but it will eventually will be installed automatically... but if your copy of Windows is legitimate, you shouldn't need to worry. Author grindthrasher80 (1 year) I found KB971033 not selected (optional you decide to install it) in windows update Author DollaBiIIz (1 year) The instructions are in the readme file. 1 Launch the loader application and select to uninstall 2 Restart the PC 3 Install the loader and restart the PC 4 Visit the microsoft website to revalidate Windows. Author DollaBiIIz (1 year) I have a fix. See my previous post. Author DollaBiIIz (1 year) You need to uninstall the update ASAP, but that won't fix the problem of "widows is not genuine" and problems associated with that. To fix those things, download Windows 7 Loader version 2.0.4 (or the latest version) by Daz and follow the instructions below where it says "did you install KB971033?" Author GamerControlFreak (1 year) Try using the WAT remover. If it doesn't work, do it twice (I did it twice, then it worked.) Author jhurst111 (1 year) i had the same problem, the solution is simple: uninstall the update. Author katri300 (1 year) you can uninstall the update! go Start and Type windows update, and hit enter click "view update history" in the upper right corner now on UPPER RIGHT see Installed Updates written in blue. Click on that..... now find your Update For Windows 7 (KB971033) and uninstall it from there! ;) LOOK VERY CLOSELY if you cant find.. Author CJCA915 (1 year) However, if your copy of Windows is legitimate, as in you purchased it, you should be able to just call Microsoft and they'll help you resolve the problem.
