She staged this arrest, KNOWING they would arrest her to

Amy did not force the police to arrest her, she just attempted to get into the area to which she was entitled to, because she had credentials allowing her in. She was also perturbed because her other colleagues had been arrested & her cameraman had a bloody face.

To claim that Amy is 'pro-communist' demonstrates dichotomous thinking to the extreme, the type you only get in a truth controlled state such as the U.S.

Amy Goodman is an award winning journalist. She was the one who attempted to break the Suharto invasion of East Timor (after Carter gave him the green light to invade & slaughter 300,000 civilians). The media just ignored her.
She was actually arrested & beaten by the Indonesian army, luckily she was released after they saw her U.S. passport. A testament to the fact that they were acting as a client mercenary proxy for the U.S. at the time.
