    The Orange-yellow pieces are Citrine and when then grow together they are called an Ametrine.

    JD you need to come out as soon as you can this place has been dug by a history group and some years ago and someone come back and two weeks ago found a $0.02 piece 3 blocks from me and also a block from me where I had stopped searching them is going to continue on my next search there at a tree found three silver quarters there is stuff to be had here and places that haven't been searched that we can knock not to mention it is the ghetto and has turned that way in the last 20 to 30 years

    Soak the orange colored crystals in iron out and it they will become clear. 11:55 is called a scepter.

    JD you have a beautiful collection there. The brown pieces I believe is call Amber. You may want to check into that though. I love the purple stones they look like rock candy, yum! lol

      those are quartz based crytals. much more likely iron stained quartz or citrine which is quite rare.
      Amber is made from tree resin and does not form crystals, it forms lumps and globs and if you are lucky some extra fauna or flora ie an insect. sorry hun.

    Bigger sheets of mica are called isinglass. Old heating stoves used it in a small window in the doors goinging into the firebox.

      I always walk head down, never know what you will find. I found a large clear crystal just walking down sidewalk. No clue how it got there. I'd been walking same path for a year and then there it was.
