  • Added:  1 year ago
  • When there were no schools for girls where they lived, Edna tells us how her father home-schooled her and how that opportunity shaped her entire life.

Edna is the former Foreign Minister of Somaliland. She also served as Somaliland's Minister of Family Welfare and Social Development. She is the director and founder of the Edna Adan Maternity Hospital in Hargeisa and an activist and pioneer in the struggle for the abolition of female genital mutilation.

it is shame to say those kind of rude words to a successful, hardworking and people's doctor of today... DR ADNE is a role model to all somali girls regardless of where they come from and born.

      AfrikanQween
Our countries? Were you born yesterday? Clearly you have been brainwashed tremendously. Waqooyi was never a country neither koonfur. Before the colony the whole Africa had no borders people were formers and nomads and used to crisscross. During the colonization era the Somali people in all the 5 territories wanted to overthrow the white men and unite. SYL worked hard the liberation of both north and south. It was planned both to take the independence at the same time. So you claiming that two countries have joined is absolutely baseless. The Somali blue flag was made by SYL aiming to unite the whole Somali territories. and they put it up in the north first and then 5 days later in the South. Ask yourself how can two different countries have the same flag?

War she said Isaaq and Xabashi came from the same qabiil. She said all the other Somali clans are disease. Go check up her other videos where she speaks about recognizing s.land. Qabiil baa dilooday habartaan weyn. Marna masarka wey iska tuurtaa marna wey sidataa. She has few years left in her life so I don't mind her anymore
