  • If it feels to you like the idea of senior travel discounts is an illusion, you’re not alone. There was a time when people our age could expect to get a discount just by asking for it. Now, the senior travel game is much more complicated.

The good news is that there are still good deals out there… we just need to know where to look for them. Today, I’d like to share a few tips for finding senior travel discounts.

Come join us for a cup of tea (or coffee) and a chat. And, if you enjoy the show, please tell one friend about us today. Your support means so much to me!

    Here are today's community questions.

Where would you travel to if you found an amazing discount? Can you remember a time that you found a great travel deal? What was it and where did you go?

Please join the conversation and tell one other woman about Sixty and Me today. The more the merrier!

    Hi, Margaret and everyone.
I think EuropeanDestinations has good deals on flight, hotel and train combinations especially if you are flying from the US to one city and flying back from another. They are pretty flexible but require at least 3 hotel stays during the trip. I also had good luck finding an inexpensive apartment in Paris through SweetHomeParis.
I am happy to be posting on my phone through Google +!
    Happy Vernal equinox.

In Canada there is a site called nextdeparture.ca you just type in the Airport you are flying from and it will show you many flight deals.
